When we say archaeology we think of the past and if I have to talk about artifacts it plays a big role in archaeology and artifacts can be considered to be alot of things and it’s so much important to archeologists and most of the artifacts you will find it in the museums or the archeological collections but the word artifact comes from the Latin and it has two meanings arte means skill and factum means the past the words are Latin .
